I am still thinking of Sheila C. Johnson’s Keynote Speech, given a few weeks ago at at Virtuoso Travel Week. Her words continue to mull in my mind.
Sheila is the co-founder of BET, film producer, founder of the Middleburg Film Festival, philanthropist, the first African-American women to be an owner or partner in three professional sports franchises: the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards & the Washington Mystics and the CEO of Salamander Hotels & Resorts. She is simply a force to be reckoned with, and someone that I cannot wait to learn more about.
I could not do any justice summarizing her words, so I present Sheila C. Johnson below.
